Dean's Open House at Weill Hall

Relax and enjoy Weill Hall with family, friends, faculty, staff, and fellow graduates. The Ford School Graduate Open House is a casual, drop-in celebration designed to welcome graduates and their guests to the Ford School ahead of Commencement. Come see the building, revisit favorite spaces, take photos, and enjoy light refreshments.

This event is an opportunity to connect with classmates and members of the Ford School community in a relaxed setting before the Commencement Ceremony. Feel free to stop by at any point during the event window, whether you plan to stay briefly or spend more time visiting and celebrating.

Parking
To attend the Ford School Open House, the Hill Street Parking Structure and the Thompson Street Parking Structure are closest to Weill Hall; both provide handicapped parking. There is also metered street parking on Oakland and Monroe Streets.

Celeste M. Watkins-Hayes

Joan and Sanford Weill Dean of Public Policy; Jean E. Fairfax Collegiate Professor of Public Policy; University Diversity and Social Transformation Professor; Professor of Sociology

Watkins-Hayes is an internationally recognized scholar and expert widely credited for her research at the intersection of inequality, public policy, and human service institutions, with a special focus on HIV/AIDS; poverty; and race, class, and gender studies. Dr. Watkins-Hayes has published three books, numerous journal and edited volume articles, and pieces in The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and Chicago Magazine.
