Jeff MacKie-Mason named dean of U-M School of Information

Pending regent approval, Jeff MacKie-Mason will take over as the next dean of the University of Michigan’s School of Information. MacKie-Mason, a Ford School professor and alum (MPP ‘82), was a founding faculty member of the School of Information and is the Arthur W. Burks Collegiate Professor of Information and Computer Science. Teresa Sullivan, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs told the University Record, “We are confident that Dr. MacKie-Mason will provide impressive leadership for the School of Information, strengthening the school’s international reputation of excellence in providing innovative education for the next generation of information professionals.”
