A new study by Susan M. Dynarski and Brian A. Jacob was highlighted on the University of Michigan's NPR station, Michigan Radio, in a segment called "U of M to study effectiveness of Michigan's charter schools."
The study of more than 200 Michigan schools will examine "[e]verything from their length of school day and school year to specific curriculum or instructional practices, and the idea there is try to assess whether there are certain policies or programs that seem to be associated with the most effective charter schools," Jacob told Michigan Radio.
