Craig Ruff has joined the administration of Gov. Rick Snyder as a policy advisor in education. Ruff is a senior policy fellow at Public Sector Consultants (PSC), a Lansing, Michigan, firm specializing in health, education, economic, environmental, and technology policy. He lectures in state politics and policies at the Ford School.
According to Gongwer News Service, Ruff officially began his position in mid-June:
With the administration, Mr. Ruff joins his former partner at PSC, Bill Rustem, who has overseen policy issues for the governor. Mr. Ruff will be policy advisor on education, dealing with the full gamut of education issues, he said, from pre-school to adult education.
