Open to Ford School Staff Only

One of the worst feelings is being disconnected, alone, or not belonging. Following the screening of the documentary, Me, the ‘Other,” on Friday, October 12 (see announcement above), Ford School staff are invited to participate in a post-film discussion. The discussion will serve as a platform for discussing what connects us, what keeps us apart, and how we can foster a more inclusive workplace. Please bring your own lunch!

  • Living Smart in This World
with speakers Demond Johnson and Vincent Smith
    Wednesday, October 23 | 4:00 - 5:30 pm | 1120 Weill Hall
Being a Ford School student is stressful, even more so in a time of political and social tension that many are finding emotionally and physically threatening. Please join us for a conversation with two local experts who will share some of their own personal experiences and how you can use physical activity and wellness strategies to reduce psycho-social stress and improve your well-being. This conversation will be moderated by our own Grant Newsome, MPP student and U-M Wolverine offensive tackle and student coach.

    Speakers:
    Demond Johnson
    CEO of A2 Fitness Professionals
    Retired-US Army (Master fitness trainer)

    Vincent Smith
