One day. All of us. On Tuesday, November 27, the Ford School will participate in the University of Michigan's fifth annual Giving Blueday, a university-wide day of giving. Giving Blueday is an opportunity for Fordies around the globe to come together—alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends—to support enriching educational opportunities and engaged learning.
From midnight through 11:59 PM (EST), donors will be able to show us what they love most about the Ford School through a gift to the fund(s) of their choice, and to take advantage of matching opportunities that double their impact. Each gift, no matter the size, will make a difference.
This year, the Ford School is highlighting our four areas of highest need:
A gift to the Dean's Strategic Fund provides financial support for unpaid student internships, faculty research projects, exchange programs, and other strategic initiatives that arise throughout the course of the year.
Gifts to the Undergraduate Scholarship Fund assist students in supplemental educational pursuits such as internships and study abroad experiences, and allow them to practice the skills they are developing at the Ford School. (Note: Gifts to the BA Internship Fund should be made to the Dean’s Strategic Fund where they will be earmarked for BA Internships.)
A gift to the Graduate Internship Fund will help Ford School students defray the costs of summer internships, making it possible for them to select an internship most relevant to their career goals.
Gifts to the International Economic Development Program (IEDP) support this innovative three-credit academic program that serves as an experiential learning opportunity for graduate students to think and walk through the multi-faceted experience of an international project from start to finish.
