Goldenberg, U-M take quick action to ensure students in quarantine can vote

In a recent Inside Higher Education article, Goldenberg said that when the campus set up quarantine and isolation dorms, it worked with Ann Arbor elections officials to place ballot drop-off boxes just outside the housing. But then she heard from students that they were not getting mail forwarded from their regular dorm rooms.

“It was a just-in-time discovery,” she said. “It’s not something that we had fully anticipated.” Ballots have since been delivered to students.
