States take a lead role in U.S. elections, Goldenberg tells Deutsche Welle

"The first thing one has to know about elections in the United States is that they are run by the states, there are 50 states, and it's hard to generalize," said Goldenberg. However, "the recommended standard is that people shouldn't have to wait in line for more than 30 minutes."
