As five potential gubernatorial candidates lost their appeals to have remain on the ballot after they failed to submit the correct number of signatures, Ford School professor Jonathan Hanson said the campaigns were responsible for their own demise.
He told WXYZ, ""I think it needs to start with the campaigns. The campaigns themselves should take a hard look at their decisions about how to gather the signatures they need."
