El-Sayed: "In 10 days SCOTUS took us back decades"

Ford School Towsley Foundation Policymaker in Residence Abdul El-Sayed opines that the Supreme Court betrayed the public trust in its final rulings released at the end of June -- overturning of Roe v. Wade, limiting gun control measures, and preventing the Environmental Protection Agency from being able to regulate greenhouse gases.

"While the full consequences of the Court’s hypocrisy will not be known for some time to come, their indelible imprint is already being left on American lives. Across the country right now, women are already searching for alternatives to a healthcare procedure that was safe and legal two weeks ago," he writes.
