Betsey Stevenson, BBC: "I think that we're losing perspective when we talk about rising population being good for economic growth. What really matters is living standards, and that's GDP per capita. And GDP per capita doesn't necessarily change because the population grows or shrinks. I think the real underlying issue is whether the population is aging and whether you have enough young people coming into the workforce."
