Javed Ali, Ford School professor and national security expert talked about the congressional oversight hearings with the Secret Service concerning the shooting of Donald Trump. Ali said, “The hearing today unified congress on this issue because anytime there is an incident like that … congress is going to demand answers as to why that happened." however, he also said, “There’s a bit of political theatre that goes on with that too, certainly in these public hearings.”
