Javed Ali, Ford School professor talked with States Newsroom about the possible security threats after the 2024 election. He said, “Unfortunately, you can never have 100% security." However, he thinks the likelihood of violence “I still think it’s relatively low,” Ali said.. He also said, “You’ll probably see a lot of disinformation, especially if Vice President Harris wins, sort of casting doubt on the integrity of the voting, the credibility of the process, maybe going after specific individuals and key swing states, or even counties."
