Javed Ali, Ford School professor and counter terrorism expert explained the decision to cancel all of Taylor Swift's shows in Vienna. He said, "The decision to cancel the shows is an interesting one because that was not apparently based on either a decision or a recommendation from the Austrian government," but it is likely that those involved in arranging and hosting Swift thought "there was still enough risk associated with perhaps the other people who are part of these conversations about attacking these concerts."
