Hall: Would a Republican Senate would confirm a Harris Supreme Court nominee?

Richard Hall, Ford School professor, said that when Obama nominated Merrick Garland, who “had received wide praise previously by the Republicans and yet they wouldn’t bring him up for a vote." So Hall said, "even if you pick somebody right in the middle, it becomes very difficult for either side to accept a compromise candidate who still remains very far from the median of their caucus.”
