Betsey Stevenson, Ford school professor said, "I don't think its reigniting" about the inflation rate, though she said it is hard to reduce inflation from 3% to 2%. She also talked immigration, saying "one of the reasons we have had such fast economic growth is because of the flow of immigration over the last year." Tariffs and immigrant polices she says could have detrimental effects on the strong American economy.
