"At this point, I'd argue they've collapsed completely [ceasefire talks], so right now it doesn't look like there's much incentive for either side to come back to the table," said the Ford School's Javed Ali in a conversation with ABC News. ABC News turned to Ali for insight on the communications happening in Gaza in hopes of reaching a ceasefire deal. Ali expressed his lack of hope for reaching a ceasefire stating "The right now looks like Israel is ready to fight and Hamas is probably going to fight as well."
