In a discussion with ABC News, the Ford School's Javed Ali spoke with the network about recent changes in Israel's combat tactics. "It looks like we are back to the type of operations that Israel conducted in the aftermath of October 7th, until December of last year. So, integration of airstrikes, these troop deployments that will probably be hostage rescue missions as well, and for all of these to put as much pressure on Hamas, to either get back to the table or release as many hostages as they still have in their possession... It seems, at least for the next few days, we're probably going to see more fighting than a resumption of negotiations," Ali stated.
