Marianne Udow-Phillips, a senior adviser to the Center for Health and Research and member of the Ford School faculty shared the promising future for a new orally ingested weight-loss pill by Eli Lilly. "The demand is great, and it would be so much easier for people to take than using the injection... If the price were to come in lower, I think more employers would cover the medications and make it available to more people," said Udow-Phillips.
