Ford School students named 2026 Dow Sustainability Fellows

January 16, 2026

Five outstanding Ford School graduate students have been awarded a Dow Sustainability Fellowship from U-M's Graham Sustainability Institute. The Ford School students are: Wulan Kencana Adjani (MPP/SEAS ‘26), Tooba Bilal (MPP ‘27), Pedro Eymael (MPP/SEAS ‘26), Sowmya Raman (MPP ‘27), and Claire Stanley (MPP/MSW '27). They are among 30 U-M students from 12 schools, colleges, and units who will participate in the program through December 2026.

Each Dow Sustainability Fellow will receive a $25,000 stipend, along with supplementary project funding, sustainability professional development opportunities, and practical experience working on a team with an external organizational partner.

Now in its thirteenth cycle, the Fellows Program is designed to support the next generation of sustainability leaders in business, government, and nonprofits by promoting interdisciplinary and collaborative engagement. Fellows are selected through a competitive process from a pool of applicants nominated by their academic units.

The Dow Sustainability Fellowship is made possible by the Dow Company Foundation. Since its inception, the Dow Sustainability Fellows Program has addressed the challenge of creating a sustainable world using interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches.
