Esmeralda Lopez

Esmeralda López is a joint PhD student in Political Science and Public Policy at the University of Michigan. She is interested in how conflict-related sexual violence and other gender violence are reported (and not reported) at the individual and institutional levels as well as how these issues are addressed (and not addressed) by policymakers. Before coming to Michigan, Esmeralda received B.A.s in Political Science and in History at the University of North Texas where she was a McNair Scholar.
