
J'Mauri Jackson
J’Mauri Jackson (she/her) is a Ph.D. Student in Public Policy and Sociology, NSF Graduate Research Fellow, and Rackham Merit Fellow. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at The Ohio State University (2019) and a Master of Art in Sociology at Indiana University Bloomington (2022). Her research broadly focuses on the determinants of health disparities, carcerality, and ethno-racial inequality, and she is currently working on projects examining healthcare in Michigan prisons. At U-M, she is a student affiliate of the Confronting Conditions of Confinement team at the Carceral State Project and a Center for Racial Justice Graduate Research Fellow at the Ford School of Public Policy.
