Karla Magaña is a joint Ph.D. student in Public Policy and Political Science at the University of Michigan. She is an APSA Diversity Fellow and a Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellow, broadly specializing in the racialization of the United States bureaucracy and policymaking, with a focus on federal agencies.
