Katie Laursen

Katie Laursen is a PhD student in Economics and Public Policy. Her research interests are primarily in the economics of education and labor economics. Katie grew up in California and she graduated with highest honors from UC Davis in 2021 with a BA in economics and a minor in mathematics. Before beginning graduate school, Katie worked as a research assistant for Amanda Kowalski – a health economist at Michigan – for two years.
