Marcella Brighton

Marcella (Marcy) Brighton is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. Since 2008 she has been managing the operations infrastructure of the school including finance, human resources, data analytics/business intelligence, facilities and information technology, as well as modeling and strategy development with the dean, faculty and staff leadership. She has been at the university for over thirty years, including leadership roles in the College of Engineering, School of Information and School of Nursing. She actively serves on a variety of cross campus committees, and deeply values mentoring staff to attain their long-term career goals. She has an undergraduate degree from Michigan (BA in History; Ed Cert) and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.
