Margarita Maria Rodriguez Morales

Margarita is a PhD candidate in the joint program of Public Policy and Sociology. Her research analyzes the impacts of sociotechnical artifacts on welfare bureaucrats' diverse knowledges, decision-making, and everyday practices. In her dissertation, she is studying Colombia's targeting mechanisms for allocating social programs, showing how they reconfigure not only poverty governance but also the ways in which citizens relate to their state.
