Marni Morse
Marni Morse is a joint doctoral student in the departments of Sociology and Public Policy, specializing in the sociology of law, with a focus on gender law and policy. Her primary research interest is care labor.
Marni brings her legal training to her graduate research. Marni received her law degree from Stanford Law School, where she participated in the Journal of Civil Rights and Civil Liberty, Domestic Violence Pro Bono Project, and Religious Liberty Clinic. During law school, she interned with both federal and state government. She has worked at policy think tanks, researching policies that support working mothers and families. Prior to law school, she studied political science and gender studies at Princeton University.
