Micah Baum
Micah is a PhD student in Public Policy & Economics. His research interests are in labor economics, urban economics, and the economics of education. He studies how neighborhoods and institutions affect economic inequality, educational outcomes, and children's well-being. Micah grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from Boston University with a BA in Economics and Sociology. He is an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, an Institute of Education Sciences Pre-Doctoral Fellow, and has twice served as an AmeriCorps member.
