Shekinah Nissi Lightner

Shekinah is a joint PhD student in Public Policy and Political Science. Prior to coming to Michigan, she graduated with her B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Furman University in 2020. She is broadly interested in religion and politics, racial and ethnic politics, education policy, and policy diffusion.
