William Taylor
William D. Taylor is a joint doctoral student in Political Science and Public Policy. His research employs advanced computational methods to investigate the challenges faced by populations with limited social, political, and economic capital, and their exposure to legal and extralegal punishment. Since January 2023, William has worked as an analyst with the UNC School of Government Criminal Justice Innovation Lab, applying quantitative and computational techniques to projects on bail reform, alternative responses to behavioral health crises, and criminal record clearance. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
