The Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan is deeply saddened by the passing of Congressman John Dingell, an icon who represented southeast Michigan in the United States Congress for nearly sixty years.

On very very few occasions
have I run into a situation

where I felt that my 1st.

My personal conscience was different
than what I thought the people wanted

and that's made public service for
the easy for me and

so I just go home and say fellows
this is what I did and this is why.

Hope you give me another 2 years.

When the political actions
are over it is then time for

us to buckle down and to see to it
that we work together to do things

that have to be done to make
the proper work compromise and

so it should cooperation all of those
things are absolutely necessary and

refuses to work the hardest
problem I have in the Congress.

Is evaluating the facts.

And finding out what is right and
best to do.

Once those question Should been
resolved it becomes very easy.
