Join Professor Shaefer and the research team as they discuss the Index of Deep Disadvantage which seeks to unpack poverty beyond income-based measures to other dimensions of disadvantage including health and social mobility.

The index reveals stark disparities across the U.S. and can be used to help direct resources and action to where they’re needed most.
