The month of March marks one year since COVID-19 was declared a pandemic. Join the Trotter Multicultural Center as they host social demographer, professor of Public Policy & Health Management and Policy, and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Paula Lantz for COVID-19: Reflections and vision for the future, a Trotter Distinguished Leadership Series event. Award-winning science journalist and author Nicholas St. Fleur, will be moderating and guiding us through a discussion that reflects on the impact of the pandemic on local community health and policy and explores what comes next.

Paula Lantz

James B. Hudak Professor of Health Policy; Director, BA Programs
A social demographer, Lantz studies the role of public policy in improving population health and reducing social disparities in health. She is currently engaged in research regarding innovative financing approaches for supportive housing among Medicaid beneficiaries, and also on how COVID-19 is exacerbating existing social and health inequalities in the U.S.
