Lessons from the field: A conversation with USAID Acting Deputy Administrator Alexious Butler

Her extensive background includes working in Haiti as the Democracy, Rights and Governance (DRG) Office Chief and as Deputy Mission Director. Prior to her Haiti assignments, Ms. Butler served as a DRG Officer in South Sudan, Bangladesh, Iraq and Afghanistan as well as in Washington DC in the Bureau for Africa’s Conflict, Peacebuilding and Governance section.
