Iuliia Mendel, a prominent Ukrainian journalist and political commentator, known for her contributions to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Politico Europe, VICE, and others, brings a wealth of experience to share with the students. Former press secretary to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and author of "The Fight of Our Lives," her stories are a must-hear. Currently a WCEE Distinguished Fellow and a Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan, she's actively shaping the conversation in Ann Arbor.
