We are pleased to anounce the fourth year of H2D2 Research Day at the University of Michigan on April 20, 2018.

We will welcome Amitabh Chandra, Malcolm Wiener Professor of Social Policy and Director of Health Policy Research, Harvard Kennedy School as our keynote speaker.

We intend for this mini-conference to draw both faculty and students from the University of Michigan as well as from the greater mid-west and Canada. The conference will focus on the subfields comprising our acronym: health, history, development, demography and family economics, broadly defined. Aside from the University of Michigan, our speakers are faculty and graduate students from the following institutions: Boston College, Harvard University, Michigan State University, Queens University, the US Naval Academy, the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois, the University of North Carolina at Asheville, the University of Notre Dame, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Wisconsin, Vanderbilt University, and Wayne State University.
