Matthew Davis quoted in Reuters article about the bullying of obese children

Matthew Davis spoke to Reuters Health about the findings of a study, published in Pediatrics, showing that overweight children are more likely to be bullied than their peers. According to the article, the issues surrounding obesity and bullying are complex and multi-faceted. Davis told Reuters that many school programs address bullying, but not necessarily weight-related bullying. To help, Davis told Reuters he would encourage adults to "model good behavior for children, by not making negative comments about other people's weight.”
