MSNBC, Inside Higher Ed quote Susan Dynarski on higher education tax breaks

Media coverage of Wednesday's hearing by the U.S. Senate Finance Committee on higher education tax breaks included testimony from Susan M. Dynarski, a professor of public policy and a professor of education.

MSNBC.com cited Dynarki's recommendation to provide such tax benefits when people can use it to meet tuition payments, rather than months after filing their returns.

Inside Higher Ed also cited Dynarski's up-front tax break proposal, as well as her criticism that the current tax incentive system is poorly designed to increase college attendance amongst low-income families.
