Six Ford School alumni have been elected to the Alumni Board by their peers. The term starts January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2021. The newly-elected members are:

U.S. Government Accountability Office, Assistant Director of Forensic Audits and Special Investigation
- Farah Mandich (MPP '17)
Southern California Edison, Policy Advisor
- Steven Reich (MPP '85)
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Sr. Technical Advisor
- Ingrid Tighe (MPA '13) re-elected
City of Birmingham Principal Shopping District, Executive Director
- Rachel White (BA '10) re-elected
Old Dominion University, Assistant Professor
Two student representatives selected by their peers, Alissa Graff (MPP ’19) and Sasha Greer (BA ’19), will serve from January 1, 2019 until December 31, 2019.
The newly elected board members first meeting will be April 5-6, 2019.
Alumni Board members work to increase the visibility of the Ford School; to strengthen the school’s alumni network; and to assist the school with student recruitment, career services, and alumni relations activities. Recent Alumni Board initiatives include the annual Worldwide Ford School Spirit Day events, fundraising efforts for student support, and student mock interviews and resume reviews.
Alumni Board members serve three-year terms and six seats open for election each year to encourage broad alumni involvement and representation.
