Economist Justin Holz joins the Ford School as an assistant professor. Holz’s current research explores how economic policies affect racial disparities, how to increase tax compliance in large businesses, and police misconduct.
"I am excited to join the faculty at the Ford School because of its longstanding reputation for interdisciplinary research and policy impact," Holz said.
“Justin Holz brings his experimental economics lens to our illustrious cadre of economists exploring important policy questions,” said Dean Celeste Watkins-Hayes. “His robust and innovative approach will prove beneficial to our community for faculty and students alike.”
Holz received his PhD in public policy from the Harris School at the University of Chicago. He is the associate editor of the Journal of Political Economy: Microeconomics and an affiliated researcher at the Joint Initiative for Latin American Experimental Economics.
