Rabe: Biden Administration faces conflicts in drilling decisions

February 2, 2023 The Wall Street Journal

The Wall Street Journal: Barry Rabe, a professor of public policy at the University of Michigan’s Ford School of Public Policy, said that the Biden administration’s mixed decision reflected the challenges it faces balancing the need to curb greenhouse-gas emissions against the continued reliance by the U.S. on oil and gas and Alaska’s support for the project.

“We’re likely to see some of these very complexities go forward, where you might not have clean, immediate decisions one way or the other,” he said.
