Ford School Professor Javed Ali explained the importance of the prisoner swap with Russia in such turbulent times, he said "I don't think it is going to have an impact in terms of the significant tension between the US and Russia, but yes I do agree that there are aspects of this that speak well to how diplomacy worked to bring all these people back to their respective countries."
