Chief Financial and Administrative Officer

Ante' V. Britten, MBA serves as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) at the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. In this role, Ante' oversees all financial and administrative functions, working closely with the dean and senior leadership to strategically align resources with the school’s mission and goals. He collaborates with departments and stakeholders across the university to enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation in financial and administrative practices, and advance initiatives that promote access to education, supporting the Ford School’s commitment to excellence and inclusivity.

Ante' brings more than 15 years of experience in higher education management, specializing in strategic and fiscal operations. Since joining the University of Michigan in 2014, he has held leadership roles at the University Library and Rackham Graduate School, where he was recognized for his ability to drive organizational culture improvements and optimize resource management.

In his most recent role as Senior Administrative Director at Rackham, Ante' spearheaded a culture and climate change initiative that enhanced resource management across the graduate school. He also led the implementation of 12 months of stipend support for the duration of graduate funding packages, beginning in academic year (AY) 2023–24, a transformative step in supporting university PhD students. During the pandemic, he demonstrated exceptional leadership by adapting policies and procedures for remote work while maintaining critical support for the university community.

Ante' holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and Bachelor of Science in both Biomedical and  Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
