IES is the independent, non-partisan statistics, research, and evaluation arm of the U.S. Department of Education, which supports "improving instruction, student behavior, teacher learning, and school and system organization."

Panelists will discuss the current climate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within higher education and the challenges that scholars and practitioners face in employing the practices and principles of DEI.
