This is a Virtual Event.On October 31, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in two cases about the consideration of race in college admissions: Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. (SFFA) v. President and Fellows of Harvard and SFFA v. University of North Carolina. On June 29, 2023, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Students for Fair Admissions, thereby striking down the Supreme Court's 1978 Regents of the University of California v. Bakke ruling.
