League of Women Voters of Michigan Re-schedules U of M Regents Candidate Forum for October 24, 2014.
League of Women Voters of Michigan President, Susan Smith, today announced the League has re-scheduled the October 8, University of Michigan Regents Candidate Forum for October 24, 2014. It will be held at 4:00 pm in the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy’s Annenberg Auditorium on the University of Michigan campus.
“We are delighted that all of four of the major party candidates are available to participate in the Forum on October 24,” said Smith. “Several of them had schedule conflicts on the previously announced date.”

About the event:
The four major-party candidates for University of Michigan Regent have confirmed their participation: Mike Behm, Rob Steele, Ronald Weiser, and Regent Kathy White.
The forum will be moderated by Susan Smith, President of the League of Women Voters of Michigan. Questions will be composed by representatives of both the League and Ford School students, who will assist in asking the questions. Timers will be League members. The format will allow for questions from the audience; it is not a debate.
