Join P3E for a discussion with Anne Doyle, global speaker, author, journalist, business executive, podcast host, former elected official and lifetime change agent, who has been on the front lines of women's progress for nearly five decades.  Ms. Doyle will share communication and leadership skills that have made her successful in her professional journey and in addressing current issues.

The Honorable Anne Doyle is a global speaker, author, journalist, business executive, podcast host, former elected official and lifetime change agent who has been on the front lines of women’s progress for nearly five decades. She is the author of POWERING UP! How America’s Women Achievers Become Leaders and the host of two podcasts: POWERING UP! and the Game Changers podcast of the International Women’s Forum.

She began her career as a trailblazing TV news and sports broadcaster in the 1970’s and 1980’s and was inducted into the Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame for her national leadership role in  opening sports locker rooms to women journalists.

Anne earned her business credentials as a Ford Motor Company communications and governmental affairs executive and was named by Automotive News to its first list of “100 Leading Women in the Auto Industry.” Following her early retirement from Ford, she ran for political office and served four years on the Auburn Hills City Council.

A respected voice for advancing women and girls, Anne’s work has taken her to six continents, including assignments for the U.S. State Department in the Mideast, Europe and the Caribbean.  She is the current president of the MI chapter of the International Women’s Forum, which will bring 800 women leaders from six continents to Detroit for the IWF’s World Leadership Conference in the fall of 2023.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, she has studied at the University of Madrid and has completed graduate work at Northwestern, Harvard and Duke universities. She is the mother of a 28-year-old son and a life-long horsewoman and traveler whose work and interests have taken her to over 30 countries on six continents.
