The Trump administration has recently come out against Columbia University with threats to impose massive funding cuts if the institution does not comply with the administration's demands. President Trump has urged Columbia to take stronger action against anti-Jewish bias on campus. The Ford School's Sam Bagenstos has claimed that President Trump has jumped through many loopholes to threaten the university with funding cuts. “There has been no express finding, there has been no record, there has been no opportunity for a hearing,” he said. “This is just dramatically in violation of the procedural requirements under Title VI.”
