Speaking to Bridge Michigan, Brian and Robin Jacob offered their excitments about Wayne State University's new Warriors on the Rise program. The program offers guaranteed enrollment to qualified high school juniors at Detroit Public Schools Community District and other benefits such as mentorship and free or discounted tickets to campus events. Regarding the program, Brian Jacob commented, “To the extent that WSU guarantees admissions to high school students, this can only help boost enrollment.” Robin Jacob added, "Getting students to enroll is only part of it, right? But anything that we can do to sort of reduce the number of barriers is a positive thing.”
