John R. Chamberlin

Professor Emeritus of Public Policy and Political Science

John joined the IPPS faculty in its second year (1970) with a joint appointment in political science and public policy.  He retired in 2014 after 43 years on the faculty.  He taught MPP courses in Statistics, Applied Regression, Values and Ethics, and Nonprofit Policy and Management. He was the first director of the BA program at the Ford School and taught several courses in that program. His research interests included the analysis of alternative election methods, models of collective action, ethics and public policy, and professional ethics.
